ROUGHWATER YACHTS LIMITED WARRANTY*

Roughwater Yachts Inc. is offering a limited warranty against manufacturing defects for a period
of 3 years after date of purchase.  All warranty claims and estimates must be presented in writing,
in their entirety within 30 days of discovery of defect, to Roughwater Yachts Inc PRIOR to any
work commencing. Claims must be pre-approved and are approved at the discretion of Roughwater
Yachts Inc. Failure to have pre-approval will negate any warranty claim and Roughwater Yachts
Inc. will not be liable for payment.  Roughwater Yachts Inc. reserves the right to appoint its own
agent to assess and verify warranty claims and further reserves the right to use repair companies
of its choosing.

This limited warranty does not apply to, and Roughwater Yachts Inc, shall have no liability or
responsibility, financial or other, in respect of, any damages or expenses relating to:


* a yacht, including components and systems, that has been altered or modified from factory
specifications;
* equipment and accessories not factory installed by Roughwater Yachts Inc.;
* damage from osmosis blistering if the original gel surface has been altered in any way;
* damage or deterioration of cosmetic surface finishes, including cracking, crazing,
discoloration, fading or oxidation of gel coat, wood finishes (varnishes, stains and paints),
fabrics, vinyl’s, plated or painted metal and stainless steel finishes; window or hatch leaks;
anti-fouling bottom paint or zinc anodes;
* the cost to remove, disassemble or reinstall components not installed by Roughwater Yachts
Inc. that require removal to access parts covered by this limited warranty;
* a Roughwater yacht which has been misused, operated in a negligent manner, used for racing
or military purposes, operated without normal maintenance, operated contrary to any
instructions furnished by Roughwater Yachts Inc. or its component suppliers, or operated in
violation of applicable law or regulations;
* any representation or implication relating to speed, range, fuel consumption or estimated
performance characteristics;
* window glass and windshield damage or breakage; damage, shrinkage or deterioration of
carpet, upholstery, and exterior canvas tops, enclosures, and weather covers;
* any components or parts not manufactured by Roughwater Yachts Inc, including but not
limited to engines, engines parts and accessories, refrigerator, etc. These items are usually
warranted by their respective manufacturers;
* Electrolysis, galvanic or crevice corrosion;
* any damage, cost or expense caused by act of nature;
* loss of time, loss of use or inconvenience,  travel expense, transportation costs, towing, or other
matters not specifically covered hereunder.     

Limitation of Damages

The sole and exclusive remedy under this warranty is expressly limited to repair or replacement of
defects in materials or workmanship, and does not include incidental or consequential damages.

There are no implied warranties applicable to any Roughwater Yachts.
